--- A little out of the way, the Roanoke Full Stop is worth making a detour to find. Once there you'll find expertly made cracklin with plenty of meat and extra crunchy skins. They're seasoned just right. The meaty chunks are many, but they're also a bit on the dry side.
At $12.99 a pound you can understand why they don't want to give out any free samples (
see picture below).
